Everton FC Vs Real Betis Live Stream, Preview and Prediction Club Friendly 2016

Both sides will be hoping to come into the contest with momentum on their side, as Everton play Dynamo Dresden on Friday while Betis lock horns with Werder Bremen, although it is likely that both starting line-ups will be much-changed.

The English Premier League side head to Germany off the back of three pre-season victories out of three so far.

Having taken over the reins following the sacking of Roberto Martinez at the end of last season, Ronald Koeman has made the ideal start to his preparations for the forthcoming campaign.

After overseeing a 1-0 win over Czech side Jablonec, Koeman’s side have enjoyed comfortable 3-0 and 3-1 successes over Barnsley and MK Dons respectively.

Betis are the first of two lots of Spanish opposition awaiting the Blues before their Premier League season kicks off on August 13, as they also face Espanyol next week.

Los Verdiblancos have also enjoyed a perfect pre-season with four successive victories – scoring 13 goals and conceding just twice – including a 7-0 humiliation of El Palo.

They are now aiming to make it third time lucky against English opposition this pre-season, having also beaten Middlesbrough and Fulham so far.

Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gus Poyet is about to embark on his first full campaign in charge after taking over at the end of last term, in which Betis established their La Liga status by finishing 10th following their return to the top-flight.

Only Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Aritz Aduriz scored more times than 19-goal Ruben Castro last year, and Poyet will be looking to his 35-year-old striker for inspiration once more this term.

The match at the DDV-Stadiom kicks off at 12.30pm BST on Saturday, with both sides keen to build momentum.
