They started the DFB Pokal campaign with a 0 – 6 win over amateur team Germania Egestorf.
RB Leipzig ended second last season in 2.Bundesliga. They kept most of their most important players from the last season, but the team’s main goal will be to save Bundesliga status. They played super attacking football in the preseason beating Eibar with 3 – 2 and playing 4 – 4 with Liefering. The first official match of the new season has also offered a drama, as they team lost to Dynamo Dresden after penalties. The regular part of the match ended in a 2 – 2 draw.
Kramaric and Uth have been playing in a great shape during the preseason for the hosts and we strongly believe they will be able to produce at least two goals against very vulnerable RB Leipzig defense.
