Pumas UNAM suffered their second defeat of the season ahead of the international break, with Gabriel Hauche’s 23rd minute strike proving the difference in a 1-0 loss away to in-form Tijuana. Yet Pumas UNAM did not play too badly and they remain in sixth place with 11 points from seven games. Francisco Palencia’s side have made a solid start to the season and their only two defeats have come away from home against league leaders Tijuana and second-placed Pachuca, last season’s champions.
