Real Madrid to reject permanent deal for Javier Hernandez, Man Utd must decide whether to offer Mexican new contract

Premier League outfit Manchester United must decide whether to offer Javier Hernandez a new contract as Real Madrid are expected to reject an opportunity to signed the striker permanently at the end of the season, report the Express.

The Mexico international was deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal in the summer following the high-profile arrival of Radamel Falcao at Old Trafford and signed for the Spanish side on a season-long loan deal as a result.  source: squawka.com

Hernandez’s impact at the Bernabeu has been a positive one, despite the fact he has not played regularly, but is unlikely to be able to force his way into the starting line up on a regular basis given the plethora of attacking talent at manager Carlo Ancelotti’s disposal.

As a result, Los Blancos are unlikely to be keen to make the forward’s deal a permanent one, which means that his future remains uncertain.

Hernandez’s current contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer, so unless the club can negotiate an extension in the immediate future, he will be able to disucss a mov elsewhere with other clubs in January.

Signed for a paltry £6 million by former boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Hernandez would represent a solid addition to many squads across the continent and is expected to have several potential suitors should he become available.

However, United may not wish to allow the Mexican to leave on a free transfer and may opt to offer him an extension even if he does not feature in their future plans.
