Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid
UEFA Champions League – Group F
Date: Tuesday, 27th September, 2016,
Kick-Off: 21:00  GMT+7,
Venue: Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund meet with current European champions Real Madrid in a mouth watering Champions League tie on Tuesday. Our free betting predictions suggest that this will be a high scoring game from two very good attacking sides.
Borussia Dortmund have began the season in their typically scintillating fashion. They have won six of their eight competitive games and scored a ridiculous amount of goals. Their only failures were a German Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich and a 1-0 loss at Leipzig towards the start of September.

Since that 1-0 defeat they have scored an incredible 20 goals in four matches, including a 6-0 hammering of Legia Warsaw in their Champions League group opener. However, nothing below perfection is good enough in the Bundesliga, and despite their impressive start to the season, they still sit three points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid were on the verge of breaking the all time record of consecutive La Liga wins last week, but a 1-1 draw at home to Villarreal thwarted those plans and they followed that up with a 2-2 draw at Las Palmas on Saturday.

This put an end to their six match winning streak at the start of this season, but they remain unbeaten and currently sit at the top of the table with 14 points from their six league matches.

Like their opponents, and like you would expect, Real Madrid are in fine scoring form. They have scored 20 goals in their eight competitive matches this season, including a 2-1 win over Sporting CP as they kicked off the defence of their Champions League title. It didn’t go to plan though, with them trailing 1-0 for much of the second half before scoring a quickfire brace late on to win the match.

The scoring form of both Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid is already making for a mouth watering game of football, but it’s made even better by the absence of a number of defensive figures from both teams.

Six of Borussia Dortmund’s seven games since the start of the season have seen at least three goals scored, with three of them also seeing both teams get on the score-sheet. Real Madrid have had at least three goals scored in six of their eight competitive games this season, with both teams scoring in six of them as well.

These statistics, and the general acknowledgement of these two teams’ excellent attacking credentials, makes odds of 4/6 for Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score look good value for money. I’m also backing a 2-2 correct score prediction at 17/2.

Head To Head
Borussia Dortmund have won three, drawn two, and lost four of their nine previous encounters with Real Madrid.

Both Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid have seen Over 2.5 Goals in 75% of their matches this season, with Dortmund only failing to find the net once and Real Madrid scoring in every game this season.

Team News
Defensive quartet Neven Subotic, Erik Durm, Sven Bender, and Marc Bartra are all out injured, whilst winger Marco Reus remains sidelined as well.

Defenders Marcelo, Fabio Coentrao, and Pepe are injury concerns, with holding midfielders Lucas Silva and Casemiro also out.
