Manchester United's Darren Fletcher has 'heated exchange' with Arsenal fans


Manchester United's bench were allegedly showered with red wine by an angry Arsenal fan during their display at The Emirates.

A fan was subsequently arrested, identified via CCTV, after United officials complained to the club.

They have not yet raised the issue with the FA, but are reported to be considering doing so.

One United player in particular made his thoughts clear to the crowd after the incident.

The Times reported: "United’s players reacted angrily to being hit by the wine and Darren Fletcher exchanged heated words with some fans behind him."

The Guardian also report if the fan is found guilty, Arsenal would ban them from the stadium for life.
